City Life: What did I buy?

Qualche tempo fa hanno aperto nel centro di Milano, una sorta di shopping centr all’aperto chiamato ”City Life”. Oltre ai normalissimi negozi, è presente una new entry ossia una catena tipica tedesca chiamata ”DM” che si occupa della vendita di prodotti beauty e makeup, ma anche prodotti totalmente bio.

A few weeks ago opened in the centre of Milan, a sort of shopping centre called ”City Life”. In addition to ”normal” shops that we know, there is a new entry called ”DM Market” that is a german beauty/bio/makeup shop.

Durante il periodo natalizio, io sono andata a farci un salto per dare una occhiata ai prodotti che vende e a provare qualche prodottino del brand Balea, noto marchio beauty che si può trovare in Germania (o in tutti gli store DM). Ovviamente sono tornata a casa con un sacchetto pieno di cosucce che sono super eccitata di mostrarvi.

During Christmas festivities, I went there because I was so curious to try some products by ”Balea”, famous german brand sold by DM Market. Of course, I came back to home with a bag full of new products.

Cleansing gel for combined skin:

Voi sapete che io sono sempre alla ricerca di prodotti detergenti per il mio tipo di pelle ossia per pelli miste. Ne ho provati tanti come quello della Garnier, Yves Rocher e Clinians. Quest’ultimo che ho menzionato l’ho appena terminato di conseguenza comincerò ad utilizzare proprio questo che vedete in foto.

Si tratta di un gel detergente adatto alle pelli miste/grasse con all’interno degli acidi della frutta (per questo ha una profumazione davvero ottima) e ha una funzione leggermente scrubbante. Appena l’avrò testato a fondo, ve ne parlerò in un prossimo post

You know I continue to search the perfect cleansing gel for my type of skin. I tried different cleansing gel for example by Yves Rocher, Garnier and Clinians. The last that I mentioned, it has just finished, and so I probably start to use this one that you see in the pic. It’s a cleansing gel specific for combination/oily skin and in its ingredients we can find fruit acids (for this reason it has an amazing fruity scent) and  it also has a scrub function. When I will start to use it, I will tell you what I think about it

3 in 1 cleansing gel:

Diciamo che ho fatto una bella scorpacciata di gel detergenti perchè voglio trovare quello perfetto per la mia pelle. Questo in foto è un 3 in 1 (molto simile a uno della Garnier della linea Pure active), quindi può essere usato come semplice gel detergente, come peel-off infine come maschera. Tutte queste funzioni richiedono il successivo risciacquo del viso. Funzionerà a prevenire la fuoriuscita di brufoletti e punti neri? Lo scopriremo presto.

I did a bellyfull of cleansing gel because, as I said before, I want to find the perfect one for my type of skin. This one is different from the other that I showed you before, because it’s a 3 in 1 gel (very similar to the Garnier one) and so you can use it as a cleansing gel, but also to peel off your skin and in the end as a face mask. All these three functions require to rise the face after the use. Will it work to prevent the outflow of pimples? I will discover this soon.

Setting Spray:

Sappiamo benissimo che in commercio esistono dei validissimi setting spray come quelli di Urban Decay o Glamglow, ma ahimè sono decisamente costosi. Ho provato quello di Essence, ma non sono rimasta pienamente soddisfatta e proprio per questo motivo non l’ho ricomprato. Appena ho visto che del brand Balea avevano fatto anche un setting spray, mi sono subito venuti gli occhi a cuoricini e l’ho comprato. L’ho già provato un bel pò di volte e devo dire che mi sta veramente piacendo; non ha l’efficacia di quelli high costs ma può essere considerato un ottimo prodotto drugstore. Lascia sul viso una piacevole sensazione di freschezza, la profumazione non è particolarmente forte e fa durare il trucco mediamente sulle 3/4 ore in più rispetto a quando non lo si mette. Il mio viso, avendo una pelle mista, resta alquanto opacizzato. Sono curiosa di provarlo anche nel periodo estivo per vedere come si comporta. Vi terrò aggiornati.

We know very well that in our shops exist very good setting spray as Urban Decay or Glamglow ones, but they are so expecive. I tried the Essence one, but I didn’t like it and for this reason I didn’t buy it again. When I saw this one from Balea, I had hearts on my eyes and well..I bought it! I tried it a lot of times and I really like it! Okay, it doesn’t have the efficacy of the high costs ones, but it could be considered as a good drugstore setting spray. It leaves a fresh sensation on my face, the scent isn’t so tiresome and makes my makeup last for 3/4 hours extra. I have a combined skin and with it, my face remais matt. I’m so curious to try it during summer period.

Black mask:

Ho piena fiducia di queste maschere poichè riescono in qualche modo a tirar via ogni schifezza presente sul viso. Ho sempre e solo provato maschere nere di marche coreane quindi sono rimasta subito colpita quando anche il brand tedesco ha presentato la sua proposta. L’ho provata un paio di volte e sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita poichè è riuscita a tirare via un bel pò di roba. Posso dire di aver trovato la mia maschera nera perfetta senza dover attingere da quelle di marche totalmente sconosciute

I have full confidence to these masks because they are able to remove all the dirt of my face. I always use black mask from korean/japanese brands that honestly I don’t know how to pronouce, but I’m always very satisfy about them. I was very surpised when I discovered that also Balea proposes its idea of black mask, for this reason I bought it. I tried it a lot of times and I’m very impressed because it works probably better than korean ones. I can say that I found the perfect black mask without having to buy to weird korean shops.

Day face cream for combined skin:

Anche per quanto riguarda le creme viso voglio trovare quella perfetta per la mia tipologia di pelle da poter inserire nella mia lista dei prodotti drugstore. Questa è stata pensata per pelli miste/grasse di fatti negli ingredienti non sono presenti oli, da usare durante il giorno. (Per chi ha la pelle mista, deve utilizzare creme a base di acqua). Ancora non l’ho testata, poichè ho da terminare quella della Garnier (che tra l’altro non mi sta per nulla piacendo, ma poi tranquille che vi farò una recensione), ma appenà la proverò, vi farò sapere.

I also want to find the perfect face cream form my type of skin to include on my drugstore products list. This one that i’m showing you is perfect for combination/oily skin because in its ingredients there aren’t oils and you must use it during the day because the texture is so soft. I’ve not tried it yet because I should finish the Granier one (that i don’t like it so much but i wanna finish it), but don’t worry that I will give you my review about it very soon.

Night face cream for combined skin:

Per non farci mancare proprio nulla, della crema che vi ho fatto precedentemente vedere, ho preso anche la versione da mettere la notte prima di andare a dormire. L’ho inserita nella mia night skin care routine e per quanto mi riguarda sono abbastanza soddisfatta. Non è una crema pesantissima, ma allo stesso tempo nemmeno troppo leggera. Dopo averla applicata il mio viso appare idratato e soprattutto fresco. Al mio risveglio la mia pelle è notevolmente più liscia e morbida. Ancora non posso dirvi se previene la fuoriuscita di brufoli, ma vi saprò dire più avanti.

I bought the same cream in the night version. I included it on my night skin care routine and I’m totally satisfy about it. The texture is thick and after I put it on my face, the skin appears soft and fresh. When I wake up, the skin of my face is very smooth and super hydrated. Actually I can’t say if it prevent the outflow of pimples, but I give you a complete review soon.

Makeup remover:

Moltissime bloggers/youtubers utilizzano un pannetto in microfibra per rimuovere il trucco in eccesso durante la night skin care routine. Questo che ho comprato è della linea Ebelin e da quando l’ho acquistato, anzichè utilizzare le classiche mani per lavare il mio viso dopo lo struccaggio, utilizzo proprio lui. Impressioni? Mi piace davvero tanto poichè anche solo con un pò di acqua tiepida rimuove ogni piccolo residuo di makeup rimasto sul viso. La soddisfazione più grande è vedere il pannetto a forma di guanto completamente sporco di makeup e ciò significa che effettivamente funziona.

A lot of bloggers/youtubers in their night skin care routine use this sort of towel in micro fiber to remove all residue of makeup. I bought this one by Ebelin and since I’ve bought it, I’m using it to clean my face after I took off my makeup. Impressions? I really like it because just with some warm water you can remove the residue of makeup in a simple way. The positive thing is look this towel completely dirty of makeup and in that moment you can understand that it really works.

Sheet face mask:

E’ inutile continuare a ripetervi quanto io ami le maschere in tessuto. Ogni volta che vado in negozi che vendono prodotti per la skin care, acquisto sempre maschere in tessuto adatte per la mia tipologia di pelle, possibilmente di marche differenti cosi da poterle testare. Questa non l’ho ancora provata, ma spero che funzioni e che mi lasci soddisfatta. Vi farò sapere prossimamente come mi sono trovata.

It’s unseless repeat how much I love sheet face maks. Every single time I go to shop like DM Market, I always buy some sheet masks of different brands. I’ve not tried it yet but I will tell you my opinions about it soon.

Lipstick and lip pencil:

Come vi avevo già accennato, in questo store sono presenti marchi tedeschi anche per quanto riguarda il beauty quindi ho cercato di attingere anche da quegli stand acquistando qualcosina che potesse servirmi. Ho acquistato questo rossetto opaco marrone e in abbinato anche la matita dello stesso identico colore del brand Trend. Ragazze, che devo dirvi…mi sono totalmente innamorata di questi due prodotti e vi confesso che non ci speravo molto dato che entrambi li ho acquistati a 5 euro. Il rossetto è molto pieno già dalla prima passata e soprattutto super opaco. Invece la matita è di quella girevole ed è non solo molto pigmentata, ma anche super scorrevole e facile da utilizzare. Ovviamente il rossetto non è no-transfer, ma sono piacevolmente colpita anche dalla durata quindi posso classificarlo come un long lasting. Per quanto riguarda la texture, è davvero confortevole e nonostante il finish sia super matt, non secca moltissimo le labbra.

I mentioned before that in this store we can also find german makeup brand and of course, I bought just two products that I really want to try. I bought one lipstick and one lip pencil by Trend (german makeup brand). The colour of both is dark brown and the finish is very matt. I can only say that I’m in love with them. The lipstick is very pigmentd just in one layer and the finish is so so matt. The pencil is very easy to use and also flowing. They aren’t no-transfer but they last for a lot of hours. Even if the texture of the lipstick is dry, it doesn’t dry too much your lips. I recommend you this brand if you find it in some shops like DM

 

Per tutto questo incredibile shopping beauty ho pagato all’incirca sui 27 euro. Non è stato un buon affare? Io credo proprio di si! Per chi dovesse andare a Milano o per chi già abita nei dintorni della città, vi consiglio di fare un salto da DM Market al City Life.

For all these thing, I spent more or less 27 euro. For those who will go to Milan, I recommend you to go to City Life, especially to DM Market because it sells a lot of good things.
